Pałac Pakoszów Hotel ***** has been nominated in the first edition of the Polish Castles and Palaces Ranking by Travelist Magazine, organized in cooperation with the Polish Tourism Organization. We compete in the “Best Castle-Palace Hotel” category, with the final result decided by online votes. So today, we ask for your support.
What is the ranking?
The ranking’s purpose is to showcase Polish heritage not only as history but also as a key reason to travel in Poland. From royal residences and mighty fortresses to Renaissance palaces and romantic ruins off the beaten path – it encourages discovering places that can inspire exploring entire regions.
In four categories – “Most Beautiful Castle,” “Most Beautiful Palace,” “Most Atmospheric Ruins,” and “Best Castle-Palace Hotel” – experts from Travelist Magazine and the Polish Tourism Organization jointly selected fifteen nominees each. Their criteria included historical, cultural, and architectural significance, preservation, authenticity, and tourist importance. The fifth main category – “Poles’ Favorite Castle or Palace” – has no nominees list: anyone can vote for any site in Poland they find exceptional.
Why Pakoszów?
Our palace has nearly 300 years of history. Today, surrounded by Karkonosze nature, it invites guests to stay, relax, and find their own mountain sanctuary. We are proud this place is recognized among properties across Poland.

Find us in the “Best Castle-Palace Hotel” category. Results will be announced on October 28 in Travelist Magazine.
Contest for voters
After voting in the open category, you can write why your chosen castle or palace impressed you most. The best answer wins 1,500 PLN for hotel bookings on Travelist.pl plus a family stay with entry to Bałtowski Tourist Complex attractions. Second place receives 1,000 PLN in Travelist credit and a winter package at Bałtowska Switzerland with accommodation; third place receives 500 PLN and a family Santa Package at Bałtowski Tourist Complex.
